Dad (to man at Martha’s Joy pickle booth): So, are you Martha’s husband?
Man: Yes, I am!
Dad: Then why aren’t you Martha’s Joy?
Man: (grins) Yeah, I tried that for a while. She wasn’t buying it.
Mashdad (my FFIL) is hilarious. So is Martha’s husband.
It could have been a little warmer, but I got some really good stuff: beef for stew, Eichten’s tomato basil gouda, bison snack sticks for Ben, Wolf honey, Blue Heron soap and mild pickled asparagus. I’m hooked on the pickles. I wish I had also picked up a jar of the pickled okra!
